The red dot bar is situated just inside the main entrance of the DoubleTree by Hilton within Stadium:MK. The red dot bar provides a stylish setting in which to enjoy comedy sat at tables. The night is perfect for couples, or groups of friends/colleagues to come and enjoy some of the best comedy on the UK circuit in a great atmosphere.

Just like our other nights, this night is aimed at comedy lovers so please read the house rules before booking your tickets.

The nights are usually held on the 3rd Friday of every month.

Friday 15th January - with Pippa Evans

  Pippa Evans

Pippa Evans is an award winning comedian, actress, songwriter and improviser.

A multi-talented and incredibly versatile performer, Pippa has taken 6 shows to the Edinburgh Fringe, bagging a nomination for Best Newcomer in 2008 for debut show Pippa Evans and Other Lonely People. Since then she has gone from strength to strength, performing regularly on BBC Radio 4 institution The Now Show as well as making guest appearances on hit TV shows such as Dave’s Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled and Comedy Central’s Drunk History.

She has also featured on BBC3’s sketch comedy show Live At The Electric and was one of the regular cast members on BBC2’s comedy impro series Fast and Loose.

Pippa is also a core member of The Showstoppers, the multi-award-winning group who improvise a new musical based on audience suggestions. Pippa has performed with The Showstoppers across the UK and the world, including West End residencies and a six part series for Radio 4. The show is currently midway through a run at the prestigious Apollo Theatre in the West End.

  Paul Ricketts

PAUL RICKETTS is an award-winning comic who since 2005 has been entertaining audiences across the UK and beyond. Since starting as an MC in his own London Comedy Club, Paul has developed into a much sought after performer on the comedy circuit. His intelligent humour focuses not only on sharp observations from life, but also racial, cultural and satirical subjects, intermingled with strange tales of ordinary madness. Sometimes silly, serious or surreal, sometimes autobiographical, political or near the knuckle - but always funny!

  Hayley Ellis

Manchester comedian and former regular contributor to XFM's breakfast show, Hayley Ellis has gone from strength to strength since she began performing in April 2009.

A regular MC at gigs around the country, Hayley’s natural warmth and girl-next-door charm make her impossible to dislike, something which has become evident in her success in new act competitions throughout the UK. Hayley has also become a regular sight gag contributor for the Russell Howard's Good News television programme. (Avalon Television)

This summer, Hayley performed at the Edinburgh Festival as part of The Comedy Zone, the Fringe’s longest running and most prestigious stand-up showcase. Following great success at the festival, Hayley has also won Hull Comedian of the Year. Hayley took her first solo show to Edinburgh in 2014.

  Jake Lambert

Jake Lambert fell into a career as a stand up after gaining a following on Twitter under the pseudonym @LittleLostLad and deciding to put down his iPhone and pick up a microphone. It has proven to be a great choice with him making it to the semi-finals of the BBC New Comedy Award within six months of his first gig.

Jake has gone on to perform on BBC Radio 2 and Radio 4 Extra as well as being nominated for the Magners New Comedian of the Year 2015, English Comedian of the Year 2015 and the Leicester Mercury New Act of the Year 2015.

Jake can now be seen performing his combination of one-liners, short stories and strange thoughts in comedy clubs, universities and theatres across the UK as well as still making his ever-increasing Twitter following laugh.

Carl Donnelly

Carl Donnelly has been nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award twice, won a bunch of other awards, appeared on a selection of TV shows (Mock The Week, Russell Howard’s Good News etc) and travelled the world having performed at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The New Zealand Comedy Festival and pretty much every other comedy festival there is.

  Luisa Omielan

Luisa Omielan is a comedian, improviser and actress, a rising star of the UK comedy scene. She has studied improvisation and clowning at Second City, the IO (Improv Olympic) and Comedy Sports Theatre in Chicago and she has taught improvisation for both grown-ups and kids in London.

Her debut solo show "What Would Beyoncé Do?!" has been called "One of the top UK comedy shows of the last decade" by the Guardian newspaper. It sold out in Edinburgh 2012, and received 5 star reviews. It then went on to a London run at Soho Theatre, and has had 5 sell out runs there.

Back to Edinburgh in 2013 for a 10 date sold out run, which got extended to the whole run. It also had a sold out West End run at Leicester Sq Theatre in December 2014. WWBD made every single list of must-see comedy shows of 2012 and 2013 in the UK and she took it to Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, Toronto, Singapore, New York, LA and Australia.

Luisa has been featured in Vogue, In Stye, Stylist, Grazia, Marie Claire, Guardian, Independent, Observer, The Times, Daily Telegraph, Time Out London and New York, Cosmopolitan.
  Jimmy James Jones

Jimmy James Jones is a comic/actor on the rise, with his crazy physical presence on stage to his smile, he has a way of making a audience laugh without even saying a word. Recently signing with Comedy Cafe Management he is a regular at the Comedy Cafe in Shoreditch where you can find him hosting the famous New Act Night or doing a 10minute spot. 'Recently opening for Luisa Omielan on her What Would Beyonce Do?' show and Lee Camp, He is a joy to watch on stage with his crazy family stories to the way he views life, you will be crazy not to enjoy him on stage and off stage!
