Christmas Acts 2017

Raymond and Mr Timpkins Revue

The Raymond and Mr Timpkins Revue simply have to be seen to be believed. They are the without a doubt the maddest, silliest, stupidest, cleverest, strangest and everything else-ist as well as the funniest double act of comedians on the circuit. They're a prop/music driven double act, professionally dancing about and holding up words and pictures since 2004, though they’ve been enthusiastic amateurs for much longer.

Ray Guns Look Real Enough – Headline Act

One of the most unique double acts in the UK, combining high quality musicality and insane mash ups to deliver an unrivalled entertainment experience which brings together cabaret, comedy and rock n roll.

Paul Revill – Compare

Paul Revill is an extremely likeable act, who tells stories with vivid characters and involves the audience in the fun. A variety of personal stories intertwined through observations and punch lines, ensure that the laughs just keep coming

James Alderson – Compare

James Alderson was voted "Best Comedy Act 2015" by the WOW247 Awards and was voted "Best Comedian 2014" by The Guide Awards, and 2017 just gets better and better! As well as supporting Dane Baptiste on his UK tour, James recently filmed a new Sky Christmas comedy show, which aired in the UK in Christmas 2016

Lloyd Griffith – Opening Act

Lloyd Griffith is a comedian, a choirboy and an aspiring goalkeeper. He’s the face of BBC3’s Taxi to Training (have a watch) and has been seen on Drunk History (Comedy Central), Soccer AM (Sky 1), In Off The Bar (Sky Sports), Rugby’s Funniest Moments (Sky), The Premier League Show (BBC2) and Sweat The Small Stuff (BBC3). He’s just completed supporting Jack Whitehall and Rob Beckett on their respective sold out UK tours including dates at Liverpool Echo, Newcastle Metro, Manchester, Leeds and Wembley Arenas and Hammersmith Apollo.

Abi Roberts – Opening Act

Abi is a regular on the stand-up comedy scene and has performed as herself at major venues including The Glee Club, The Stand, The Kings’ Head, Back Yard Comedy Club, Jongleurs and Manford’s Comedy Clubs. She recently became the first UK comic to perform in Russia, in Russian, completing three nights of shows to packed-out houses at Moscow Comedy Club.

President Obonjo – Middle Act

President Obonjo of Lafta Republic has been performing stand-up comedy since 2010.  The President is a comedy character, whose set combines political and personal story lines (drawing on his alter ego’s experiences and influences as a British Nigerian), the impact of Social media on his life, and the nonsense of modern life.  He is a bit of a charmer in his Field Marshal’s uniform!
